I installed IE7 and now that the full release has happened it keeps trying to update but fails. If I try to uninstall 7 via add/remove programs it tells me that I must use the same account to uninstall as was used for the install but I can't seem to manage. Ideas anybody? -- Dazza.

When it fails (and IE or Firefox stop responding) I'm not seeing anything unusual in Task Manager, eg CPU usage is modest (<10%) and I can't see anything odd in running processes. In Kaspersky AV, I've disabled Application Integrity Control (known to cause a few problems) but "proactive defence" *is* running.

I'm having same problem others have reported with graphs working in Firefox but timing out in IE7.
